Two years ago about this time I gave my notice to a company that I had been apart of in some capacity or another for close to 9 years. I made the difficult decision to step away to focus on my family and photography. As hard of a decision it was it is a decision I am very proud of.
The coolest thing about stepping away is the connections that have remained and now the connections I get to capture and be apart of as a photographer.
I met Drew via one of the departments at my previous company - she now happens to be in a position on the team I used to manage. When Drew contacted me to capture her engagement I was thrilled.
Drew and Nathan chose Deer Lake as the setting for their engagement session as it was the spot that Nathan asked Drew to marry him. I had so much fun with these two and can't wait for their special day 🙂
